2012 Benefits Overview

 

The following is a summary of the various health, retirement, and tax savings benefits offered to Team Members of Gulf Coast Village (GCV).  Team Members become eligible for medical, dental, life and LTD insurance on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. 

 

Medical (Full-TIme Employes): 

  • Team Members may elect coverage for themselves, a dependant, or family. 

  • Three (3) Aetna plans offered

  • Prescription coverage included

  • GCV pays a large portion of the premium for employee and other coverage.

 

Dental (Full-Time Employees):  

  • Team Members may elect coverage for themselves, a dependant, or family. 

  • Administered by Guardian Dental

  • GCV pays a large portion of the premium for employees and other coverage.

 

Basic Life insurance (Full-Time Employees):  

  • $25,000 company provided life insurance

 

Long Term Disability insurance (Full-Time Employees):  

  • Long-term disability is paid for by GCV. 

 

Vision (Full-Time Employees):

  • Team Members may elect coverage for themselves, a dependant, or family.

  • Plan offered through Vision Service Plan (VSP).

  • Employee pays premiums.

 

Supplemental Insurance Coverage (Full-Time Employees): 

  • Team Members may purchase other supplemental insurance such as Short-term disability, life, etc. from Marsh.

 

Team Member Assistance Program (EAP) (All Employees): 

  • Confidential, short-term counseling and referral service that is available to Team Members at no charge. 

 

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) (Full-Time Employees):  

  • Medical – allows Team Member to set aside money from each check on a pre-tax basis to set up a personal account to pay for out of pocket medical expenses such as eyeglasses, contact lenses, insurance deductibles or co-pays. 

  • Dependent Day Care Account

 

Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts (HSA) (Full-Time Employees):  

  • HSA is a savings product that offers a different way for consumers to pay for their health care.  HSAs enable you to pay for current health expenses and save for future qualified medical expenses on a tax-free basis.  Only employees that elect the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) offered may take advantage of the HSA. 

 

401(k) Savings Plan (All Employees):   

  • Eligibility after 3 months of employment - must be 21 years of age.

  • Multiple funds to choose from through MassMutual Retirement Services.

  • 24 hour internet access

  • Company matches 50 cents on the dollar, up to the first 4% of Team Member contributions.

  • Three year cliff vesting.

  

Paid Time Off (PTO) (Full-Time & Part-Time Employees):

  • Team Members receive PTO to use for vacation, sick leave, and personal time.

  • Team Members earn PTO based on hours worked per year.

  • PTO increases after four and ten years of service.
